Q: Where is the Peoria Civic Center located?
A: The Peoria Civic Center is located in the heart of downtown Peoria between Jefferson Street (Arena, Box Office), Kumpf Blvd. (Marquee Parking Lot entrance & Exhibit Hall), Monroe Street (Fulton Parking Lot entrance & Theater), and Fulton Street (Fulton Parking Lot entrance & City Hall).

Q: What are the Civic Center's office hours, address, and telephone numbers?
A: Normal Business hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am-5:00 p.m. The address of the Administration Office is:

Q: Where can I buy tickets to Civic Center events?
A: Can I purchase tickets online? Tickets can be purchased at the Peoria Civic Center Box Office, all Ticketmaster locations, including select Bergner stores and Schnucks stores. Most tickets are available online at www.ticketmaster.com.

Q: What are the Box Office hours?
A: Box Office hours are Monday-Friday from 10:00 am-5:30 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 am-2:00 p.m. (mid-September to May), and two hours prior to events on Sundays. For more information call 673-3200. The Box Office will be closed on Saturdays during the summer starting June 1, unless an on-sale is scheduled (open 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.) or an event is being held that day, in which case the Box Office will open 2 hours prior to the scheduled time of the event.

Q: Can I use a credit card at the Box Office?
A: Yes, the box office accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover.

Q: What is Ticketmaster's phone number?
A: 1-800-745-3000 to purchase tickets to any event in the continental U.S., 1-800-653-8000 to speak to a customer service agent for support on previously-placed ticket orders.

Q: The concert I have tickets to has been canceled. Now what do I do?
A: Take the tickets to the point of purchase for a full refund.

Q: Are group discounts available and how do I purchase them?
A: Group discounts are available for select shows. Please call 309-680-3551 for more information.

Q: Does my young child need to have a ticket?
A:
Children under 12 months do not require a ticket to most events at the Peoria Civic Center, provided that they sit on the lap of an adult throughout the entire event. Please check each event individually for age requirements.

Q: Where do I call to get handicap seating?
A: Both Theater and Arena are equipped for handicapped seating.  Please contact the box office for more information at 309-673-3200.

A: If it isn't on our calendar, we don't know about it yet. Please view our upcoming events here 


Q: Does the Peoria Civic Center have on-site parking?
A: Yes. The Peoria Civic Center has parking facilities off of Fulton Street and Kumpf Blvd.

Q: What time do doors open prior to an event?
A: Generally, doors open one hour prior to show time.

Q: Are there bank machines (ATM) at the Peoria Civic Center?
A: Yes, we have a 24-Hour Cash machine located outside the new Box Office lobby (off of Jefferson Avenue) and in other various locations throughout the facility.

Q: Where is your lost and found department?
A: In the Security office.

Q: Can I bring food into the Peoria Civic Center?
A: Patrons may not bring food into the facility. However, concession stands are located throughout the facility with hot dogs, pizza, nachos, soda and more during scheduled events.

Q: Are Cameras or Video Recorders permitted in the Arena?
A: Cameras and video recorders are not permitted. However, some shows will allow non-professional cameras (i.e., disposable 35 mm). Call 673-8900 and check before bringing a camera to the building; if they are not permitted at the show, you will be asked to take it back to your vehicle or it will be confiscated. For most events, at the request of the artists and/or sporting leagues, video recorders and flash photography are not permitted.

Q: Is smoking permitted in the Peoria Civic Center?
A: Smoking is not allowed inside the Arena, Theater, Exhibit Halls and Meeting Rooms.

Q: How can I get back-stage passes to an event?
A: The Peoria Civic Center does not supply nor have access to back-stage passes.

Q: How do I get a birthday/anniversary announced at an event?
A: Birthday/anniversary announcements cannot be made during Arena events. Contact the Rivermen or Bradley Athletics directly for announcement guidelines pertaining to their events. Most announcements require a few days notice.

Q: Do you offer charity items for community auctions or raffles?
A: Interested organizations must provide a letter on official letterhead to the Marketing Department. Once the letter is received, it is forwarded to the promoter for that specific show. Donation requests should be forwarded to the Marketing Department at 201 S.W. Jefferson, Peoria, IL 61602. Not all requests will be fulfilled, but group discounts are available in certain cases.

Q: Who is SMG?
A: The Peoria Civic Center is a city-owned building that is privately managed by SMG, a Philadelphia-based private management company and the world leader in the management of public assembly facilities including stadiums, arenas, theaters and exhibition/convention centers. Q: Does the Civic Center offer a Public Skate time?
A: At this time, the Civic Center does not offer Public Skate. However, after some Rivermen games, the public is allowed to "Skate with the Rivermen" as long as they provide their own skates. For more information please contact the Rivermen office.

Q: What catering services are available at The Peoria Civic Center?
A: Our exclusive in-house caterer Centerplate, offers catering services for groups ranging from 10 to 4,000 people.

Q: What about food concessions for my trade show?
A: Each exhibit hall is equipped with a built in concession stand. Your event coordinator can arrange for these to be open during your show.
