The IHSA Chess Team State Finals will be held in the Ballroom on February 12-13, 2010. Times are 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Saturday. Admission is free.
This event is the largest team chess championship in the U.S. Teams of 8 players from about 120 different schools will compete for the state championship. Approximately 480 chess games will be played simultaneously in the Civic Center's Ballroom.
