The Peoria Civic Center management reserves the right to prohibit any item from entering the premises. All patrons and their belongings are subject to search prior to entry and once inside the building.

 

*The Peoria Civic Centers definition of weapons includes but is not limited to the following: knives or blades of any length, metal nail files, chains longer than 6 inches not made of precious metals (i.e. platinum, gold or sterling silver), firearms (authentic or replicated, including toys), clubs or extendable batons, any type of chemical irritant spray, stun guns or Tasers, spiked or studded jewelry, brass knuckle or any other item that could likely be used as a weapon or may cause injury if thrown or used improperly.

The Peoria Civic Center is located in the heart of downtown Peoria between Jefferson Street (Arena, Box Office), Kumpf Blvd. (Marquee Parking Lot entrance & Exhibit Hall), Monroe Street (Fulton Parking Lot entrance & Theater), and Fulton Street (Fulton Parking Lot entrance & City Hall).

 

Chicago (From the North) Take I-55 South to I-74 West. Take Exit 94 in East Peoria. This fly-over ramp will take you up and over I-74 and connect you with the Bob Michel Bridge. Go across the bridge into Peoria and continue straight ahead through three stoplights. Turn right at the fourth stoplight onto Monroe Street. Turn left at the first stoplight onto Fulton Street. Take a left into the Fulton parking lot. The Peoria Civic Center is located across the street from the parking lot at the intersection of Monroe and Fulton Streets.

 

Indiana/Bloomington (From the East) Take I-74 West to Exit 94 in East Peoria. This fly-over ramp will take you up and over I-74 and connect you with the Bob Michel Bridge. Iowa/Galesburg (From the West) Take I-74 East to the Downtown Peoria exit (Exit 92B). Go straight through the first stoplight. Turn right as road curves onto Glendale Ave. Take a left at the second stoplight onto Main Street. Take a right at the second stoplight onto Monroe Street. Take a right at the first stoplight onto Fulton Street. Take a left into the Fulton parking lot. The Peoria Civic Center is located across the street from the parking lot at the intersection of Monroe and Fulton Streets.

 

What are the Peoria Civic Center's hours?

As a convention and entertainment facility, the Peoria Civic Center’s hours of operation vary.

 

Normal business hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am-5:00 p.m. During this time there is someone working the guest services desk, which can be reached at (309) 680-3500. The guest services desk is also staffed during events on nights and weekends.

 

The Peoria Civic Center’s Box Office normal hours are Monday-Friday from 10:30am am-5:30 p.m.

 

On event days, the Box Office will be open 2 hours prior to the event. On Saturdays where there is a Rivermen game, the Box Office will open at 12 pm. For more information call 673-3200. 

 

On days that have a show going on sale, the box office will open at the specified on sale time. Most shows go on sale at 10:00am, but every show is different so please check Ticketmaster.com for official on sale time. 

Where is the Box Office located?

The main box office is located off of Jefferson Avenue, through the entrance of the Marquee lot in the most recent addition to the facility. 

 

There is another box office location used during theater events, directly across from the Theater Lobby. This box office opens up 2 hours prior to the start time of a theater event. 

What are the Box Office hours?

The Peoria Civic Center’s Box Office normal hours are Monday-Friday from 10:30a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Do you allow outside food and beverages?

No, we do not allow outside food and beverages to enter the facility. We have an in-house caterer and concession provider who can take care of all of your needs.

In the Security office (Open 24 hours a day).  You can contact them at (309) 680-3682.

Who is SMG?

The Peoria Civic Center is owned by the Peoria Civic Center Authority, a seven member board appointed by the mayor. It is privately managed by SMG, a Philadelphia-based private management company and the world leader in the management of public assembly facilities including stadiums, arenas, theaters and exhibition/convention centers.

Where do I call to get handicap seating?

Both Theater and Arena are equipped for handicapped seating. Please contact the box office for more information at (309) 673-3200. Please call at least 72 hours before the event. 

Are group discounts available, and how do I purchase them?

Group discounts are available for select shows. Please call (309) 680-3551 for more information.

Where are my seats located?

Seat locations can vary per event. If tickets are available on Ticketmaster.com please visit the event listing to view the interactive maps. Otherwise click here for general seating charts.

Are there ATM Machines at the Peoria Civic Center?

Yes, we have a 24-Hour Cash machine located outside the box office (off of Jefferson Avenue) and in other various locations throughout the facility.

The concert I have tickets to has been canceled. Now what do I do?

Take the tickets to the point of purchase for a full refund. If you purchased tickets via  Ticketmaster.com you can contact Ticketmaster at 800-653-8000. If you purchased tickets at the Peoria Civic Center Box Office you can call 673-3200 or bring them into the box office. 

Does the Peoria Civic Center have on-site parking?

The Peoria Civic Center has two parking lots, one at Fulton & Monroe Streets and the other at Jefferson & Kumpf. The cost to park in either lot is $7 per space. If both PCC lots are full you can use various downtown parking lots. A map is available here.

What time do doors open prior to an event?

Generally, doors open one hour prior to show time. 

What forms of payment does the Box Office accept?

The box office accepts Cash, Credit (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover) Debit or Gift cards. The PCC box office does not accept checks.

Once your event is booked you will be introduced to your event manager and catering representative (if applicable). Your event manager will take care of all of your needs. 

Do you offer tickets for community fundraisers or raffles?

 The Peoria Civic Center is happy to provide tickets for your fundraiser or auction – when available.  To request tickets, please provide the request on letterhead and mail to Annette McMorrow at Peoria Civic Center, 201 SW Jefferson Avenue, Peoria, IL  61602. Please include your contact information - name, address and phone number.  You can also fax your request to (309) 673-9223 to Annette's attention or email to amcmorrow@peoriaciviccenter.com.   All ticket donation requests must be received at least three weeks in advance of your event.  We will do our best to provide you with event tickets.

What catering services are available at the Peoria Civic Center?

Does the Civic Center offer a Public Skate time?

At this time, the Peoria Civic Center does not offer Public Skate. However, after some Rivermen games, the public is allowed to "Skate with the Rivermen" as long as they provide their own skates. For more information please contact the Rivermen office at (309) 676-1040.

How do I get a birthday/anniversary announced at an event?

Birthday/anniversary announcements cannot be made during Arena events. Contact the Rivermen at (309) 676-1040 or Bradley Athletics directly at (309) 677-2682 for announcement guidelines pertaining to their events. Most announcements require a few days notice.

How can I get backstage passes to an event?

The Peoria Civic Center does not supply nor have access to back-stage passes or meet & greet events.  Please contact the artists fan club website for more information.

Is electronic cigarette smoking permitted in the Peoria Civic Center?

Electronic cigarettes and regular cigarettes are not allowed to be smoked inside the facility. The Peoria Civic Center treats Electronic cigarettes like regular cigarettes. Smoking areas are located outside the facility.  Signs are posted to assist you.

Are cameras or video recorders permitted in the Arena?

Professional cameras and video recorders are not permitted. However, some shows will allow non-professional cameras. Call 673-8900 and check before bringing a camera to the building; if they are not permitted at the show, you will be asked to take it back to your vehicle or it will be confiscated. For most events, at the request of the artists and/or sporting leagues, video recorders and flash photography are not permitted.

Where can I buy tickets to Civic Center events?

Tickets can be purchased at the Peoria Civic Center Box Office and all Ticketmaster locations, including select Bergner stores. Most tickets are available online at www.Ticketmaster.com.

Can you get (insert your favorite artist here) to play at the Peoria Civic Center?

Possibly! Although the decision of where/when artists or acts perform is largely up to their team, we are constantly reaching out to artists of every caliber to get them to Peoria. If you have a suggestion please feel free to email us at CustomerService@peoriaciviccenter.com and we will look into it! 

Why do you sometimes announce shows but do not announce ticket information?

We would love to let everyone know all of the details of our shows the moment we book them, but artists have made announcing their tours and specific information a concise and calculated event. We are often part of a coordinate effort of multiple venues announcing at once, and we have to follow the rules. We will always do our best to make sure you have the information as soon as possible. 

Will I have to pay Ticketmaster fees if I purchase tickets at the PCC Box Office?

 There are no Ticketmaster fees charged if you purchase at the PCC Box office, however additional fees may apply on a per show basis.

Can I purchase tickets for a show at another venue at the Toyota Box Office located at the Peoria Civic Center?

Only tickets for events taking place at the Peoria Civic Center are sold at the Toyota Box Office.
