The Dan Fogelberg Tribute Concert at the Peoria Civic Center Theater begins at 7:30 pm with guest artists Chris Hillman and Herb Pedersen and the Peoria Acoustic All Stars. Tickets will be $35 and go on sale July 13th, and can be purchased through the Peoria Civic Center Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, by phone at 1-800-745-3000 and online at Ticketmaster.com. Chris Hillman is a past member of The Byrds, The Flying Burrito Brothers, and Manassas as well as a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee. On liner notes for The Innocent Age, Dan credited Chris Hillman for being an inspiration and influencer of his work. Herb Pedersen is a journeyman musician, having performed in the studio or on the road with a who’s who of music industry giants, including work with Dan during the recording and tour for High Country Snows. Both men have worked together for many years in the hugely successful Desert Rose Band. From music that inspired Dan, to music that was recorded by Dan, and some special stories about Dan from a couple of old friends, this show is certain to be the high point of our weekend celebration.

Tickets for the welcome party and post-show reception can be purchased at DFPeoria.com. The picnic is free and open to the public.
