Luke Bryan- Security & VIP Info

Luke Bryan Concert Security Information

Peoria Civic Center has implemented additional security procedures for all events in 2016, beginning with the upcoming Luke Bryan concert on Friday, February 19th, 2016. These additional security restrictions will include new prohibited items, size restrictions on all bags brought into the building, and hand-held security wanding.

To accommodate the additional time needed for the new security procedures, doors will open 90 minutes (6:00pm) prior to the start time (7:30pm) and patrons are encouraged to arrive early to allow extra time for ingress.

Bags no larger than 13” x 15” x 6’’ will be permitted inside Peoria Civic Center. Guests who have bags larger than this size will be asked to return them to their vehicles or discard them. This is in addition to the existing policy that all bags, purses or personal items of any size are subject to search.

Peoria Civic Center prohibits certain items into the facility including outside food and beverages, professional cameras, weapons of any kind, chain belts, pocket knives and other hazardous or potentially dangerous items.  This is at the discretion of the venue’s security personnel.

An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection. The venue is unable to store over-sized or prohibited items.

Peoria Civic Center respects the privacy of its guests and the enhanced security measures will only be used to prevent hazardous and prohibited items from entering the venue. These measures are being implemented in light of the changing world we live in. There are no known specific threats, we are merely following suit with other venues around the country for the overall safety of our guests.  Thank you for your cooperation.

The Peoria Civic Center Arena has a No Re-entry policy during this events. Guests wishing to return any items to their vehicle must do so before passing through the security checkpoint.

Entry points into the facility will be limited to The main Box Office entrance facing the corner of Jefferson Ave. and Kumpf Blvd. All entry ways along Monroe St. and the Fulton St. doors closest to the theater.
