Concerns looks forward to having Former US Attorney General Eric Holder as the
guest speaker for our 31
st annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Celebration Luncheon. The luncheon will be held at the Peoria Civic
Center, 201 S. W. Jefferson Street, on January 16, 2023, at Noon. Doors open at
11 a.m.
Luncheon attendees are asked to
enter the Civic Center through the
Toyota Box Office entrance (Kumpf
Blvd/Jefferson Street). All other doors will remain locked during the
event.

Please plan on arriving early
to allow enough time to pass through security lines.
Everyone will go through
full walk-through metal detectors upon entry.
All attendees are subject to
secondary searches. All bags will be searched upon arrival and can be
rejected upon inspection and security discretion.
Each guest will be
allowed to carry in one (1) clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bag that does not
exceed 12” x 6” x 12” or one (1), one-gallon clear plastic bag.
In addition to
a clear plastic bag each guest will be allowed to carry in one (1) small clutch
that does not exceed 4.5” x 6.5”. Diaper bags (with a child age 3 and under)
and bags carrying medically necessary items will be allowed after a visual
inspection inside the bag is completed by security. These procedures will
ensure the safety of guests.
